Marco Groenewald is a Director and co-founder at RIC Consulting, a leading firm specializing in data integration and analytics solutions in South Africa. With over 15 years of experience, Marco has been instrumental in delivering cutting-edge data integration and analytics solutions across various industries. His deep understanding of both technology and business enables him to guide clients through complex data challenges and help them turn raw data into valuable insights.
Dawn’s expertise spans a wide range of technologies, including Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, Datastage, SSIS, Cognos, Business Objects, QlikView, Qlik Sense, and Talend. She has a proven track record of delivering impactful data solutions, managing complex projects, and building lasting client relationships. As a skilled leader, she guides diverse teams to achieve exceptional results in business intelligence and analytics.

Marco holds a degree in Business from the University of the Witwatersrand and is a certified Qlik Developer. His expertise spans data analytics, integration, and business intelligence, and he is passionate about ensuring that RIC Consulting’s solutions align with each client’s unique business goals. Marco is dedicated to fostering long-term partnerships with clients, empowering them to make data-driven decisions that drive business growth.
Outside of work, Marco enjoys hiking the trails of Table Mountain and exploring Cape Town’s vibrant culinary scene. He is also passionate about mentorship and often spends time guiding the next generation of data professionals, helping them develop the skills and mindset needed for success in the fast-evolving field of data analytics.

Yolanda is a tech-savvy Senior Manager at RIC Consulting, where she leads the Sales and Operations teams with a focus on building strong relationships and driving business growth. With over 33 years of experience, Yolanda has successfully led cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products and services that align with market trends and meet customer needs.
With a deep passion for data and the industry, Hein brings over 15 years of experience in driving impactful solutions across various engagements. Starting his career early by implementing POS systems, Hein quickly developed a love for configuring databases and understanding the critical importance of streamlined business processes.
Her career spans a variety of roles, including channel management, where she was recognized as a Top Partner Manager for consistently exceeding her sales targets. Yolanda holds a Certified Channel Management Professional credential and a Project Management diploma, reflecting her strategic approach to sales and operations.
Yolanda is passionate about cultivating new sales opportunities, conducting market research, and driving initiatives that fuel business growth. Her ability to create and maintain long-lasting relationships has been instrumental in her success.
Outside of work, Yolanda enjoys dancing, traveling, and nurturing trust-based relationships in both her personal and professional life. She thrives on collaboration, always bringing energy to every endeavor, and is dedicated to making meaningful connections that drive success.

Francois Wiid

Francois began his career in Business Intelligence, quickly developing a passion for data modeling and visualization. His journey started in consulting before he joined QlikView South Africa during its rapid growth, initially as a developer and later as a technical support and server implementation consultant.
Chris is a seasoned Business Intelligence consultant and Industrial Engineer with a deep passion for problem-solving and data analytics. Over the past decade, Chris has accumulated extensive experience in data analytics, earning certifications as a Qlik Business Analyst and Qlik Data Architect. For the last three years, he has led the Qlik support team at a leading telecommunications provider in South Africa.
As Qlik expanded to over 1,300 customers, Francois played a pivotal role in implementations, setting standards, and providing developer training for hundreds of students. He became the go-to expert for QlikView Server, Publisher, and Sense Server training across much of South Africa.
Since joining RIC Consulting in March 2020, Francois has been stationed at Vodacom as the Technical Qlik Lead. In this role, he is responsible for development standards and building business-critical Qlik applications that manage large datasets. His strong leadership skills have been essential in managing RIC’s Vodacom consultant team, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
Chris’s early career focused on supply chain management, fleet management, and demand management, providing him with a solid foundation in logistics, operations, and resource planning. These roles helped hone his analytical abilities and strategic thinking, which he now applies to his work in Business Intelligence.
With a proven track record of successful QlikView and Qlik Sense implementations serving over 1000 users, Chris has an exceptional ability to manage complex projects and deliver measurable results. He currently oversees a robust Qlik Sense environment that supports over 2500 users, expertly managing stakeholder relationships and adhering to IT management processes and policies.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending quality time with his family, watching movies, and hosting weekend braais. He is also an avid golfer, with aspirations of playing professionally.
